Hello Heroes!

We would also like to notify you about the technical update that will be implemented soon. We’ve encountered a problem with some code provided by one of our partners. This code is part of the matchmaking system. We feel we must fix this issue before we can make the update available to you all. We’re in constant contact with our partner as they work through the problem.

We apologise for this unforeseen delay. However I’m sure you understand we want this to be fixed and tested properly, before we release it.

- We know joining a friends game in Heroes can be somewhat tricky. We’ve been working on a new feature to help improve this for you. Now, when you attempt to join a friend who’s game is full, you will be added to a queue to join automatically when a space comes up.

- We hate cheaters and hackers as much as you do. With this update we’ve implemented some new things to make their life MUCH harder.

- Quite a few of you have been experiencing “Error 15”. For the vast majority of the unlucky this should have now gone away.

While we’ve been working on this technical update, we’ve also been hard at work on a whole new content update. More on what you will find in that very soon. 

Here’s the update list in full:

• Feature: Added support for queuing when trying to join a friend or a bookmarked server
• Exploit Fix: Fixed an issue that permitted a number of exploits and cheats being used by players.
• Bug Fix: Fixed an issue that was causing error 15 in a large number of servers
• Bug Fix: The game will update/patch properly now, even if you have updated your version of PunkBuster manually
• Bug Fix: Fixed an issue with banner ads not appearing correctly
• Bug Fix: Bookmarked Servers should now correctly display online/offline status
• Bug Fix: Fixed a number of bugs related to VIP system
• Bug Fix: Fixed a number of server side crashes
• Bug Fix: Added text strings that were missing

Appears to be a good site for finding out about co-op games and how many players it supports with a view of whats coming out in the future.

I’ve Just spotted this on steam.. due for release 26th August!
Appears to be an FPS with a mix of RTS, coop support with an indication of up to 6 players.. tbc if we can play up to 6 player coop but the suggestion is there!?

Publisher NCSoft has released the first trailer for ArenaNet’s subscription-free PC MMORPG Guild Wars 2, first showing animated backstory then lavish in-game footage.

Tripwire Interactive has just released the free Heavy Metal Content Pack for the hit co-op survival horror title, Killing Floor AND is throwing in a 10% discount on the game for the week. Following on from the success of the earlier DLC Character Pack, this entirely free update brings 2 new weapons, a brand new map and a bunch of other new features to the game. The major ones:

2 new weapons: the AK-47 assault rifle beefs up the Commando Perk, with heavier hitting power in semi and full automatic fire modes. The Katana is a classic melee weapon that combines speed, reach and cutting power.

A brand new map: KF-Foundry. This map is set in a Horzine manufacturing facility, tucked away in an old steel foundry. Multiple levels, strange machinery and molten metal all serve to create an eerie and frantic location to fight off the specimen hordes!

FilePlanet is back after collecting a bunch of nazi zombie scalps for their first Nazi Zombie Map pack. They collected new maps to blow zombie brains all over the place in the new World at War Undead Revenge Map pack.
